PENELOPE and FRIEND CROW

I made Penelope using paper clay and painted and primmed muslin.  She has a wee bit of flaxen hair which doesn't show up well in the picture.  Her polka dot dress is adorned with grosgrain ribbon and some tinsel, for a little sparkle, at the neckline.

Penelope is riding upon a large crow I made using a pattern from soft in the Head.  The crow was made from painted and primmed muslin with sculpted wings and beak.  I used a rusty star garland for the reins.  The crow is resting upon a pumpkin, made from painted and primmed osnaburg, which is attached to a wooden base. I added some dried grass and wee pumpkins.

Penelope atop her crow friend is approximately 18" tall to the tip of her stem.  This item is OOAK and will come to your home signed and dated from Ragpatch Primitives.  Please email me if you have any questions or would like to make a purchase ~ Joyce
